Ernie Anderson (1923 - 1997)
Ernie Anderson's career started in Cleveland, OH. The city of Cleveland grew to know the character Ghoulardi in the 1970s. In the late 60s Ernie Anderson moved to Los Angeles where his voice over career quickly showcased Ernie to a national audience. Ernie is best known for his work as the staff announcer for ABC where he voiced opens and promos for such shows as THE LOVE BOAT, THE ABC SUNDAY NIGHT MOVIE and MCGUIVER. Towards the end of his career Ernie Anderson was the voice of ABC's AMERICA'S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS which can still be heard today in syndication and in re-runs.

Ernie Anderson passed away in 1997 but his voice lives on.
